KleverSafe is a hardware wallet from Klever Electronics designed to protect your crypto assets by storing your private keys offline.

It connects to the K5 Wallet app via Bluetooth or USB only when needed for transactions, and you physically press a button on the device to confirm each one — adding an extra layer of security.

Always buy from the official Klever stores (kleversafe.io) and check the box contents: the device, a USB cable, the Quick Start Guide, the seed backup sheets, the warranty, a keychain and stickers.

Keep your recovery phrase private, set the device up yourself (the LED starts white, then heartbeat-blinks red) and choose your own PIN code. If you have any doubts about authenticity, contact our support team.

Use the K5 Wallet app to generate new private keys. You will need your KleverSafe, a smartphone running iOS 15+ or Android 8.1+, and the Klever Wallet App (K5 release or later).

The app walks you through interactive setup instructions, and detailed guidance is also available in the Quick Start Guide.

KleverSafe is powered through its USB port. To power it off, simply disconnect the USB cable.

After initialization, open the K5 menu, locate the KleverSafe settings and toggle "Connect KleverSafe" on. Hardware wallet accounts are then displayed with an integrated-circuit icon.

Everyone should consider acquiring one, particularly at higher investment levels. While the Klever Wallet app already offers strong safety features, an offline device that stores your private keys provides an additional layer of security.

KleverSafe features IP67 protection, allowing full immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes without harm. It is also protected against solids such as tools, dust and dirt.

Currently, KleverSafe works exclusively with the Klever K5 Wallet app to provide a complete, integrated experience for managing your crypto.

KleverSafe supports all blockchains supported by the K5 Wallet app. As of March 2023, supported networks include: Klever, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron, Binance, Polygon, Dash, Dogecoin, DigiByte, BinanceSmartChain, Ripple, BitcoinCash, Huobi, Polkadot, Reef, Kusama, Moonriver and Moonbeam.

The development team continuously works to add support for new blockchains.

KleverSafe accounts offer all the features of regular software accounts in the K5 Wallet app. Once connected via USB or Bluetooth, you can send, receive, buy, swap and stake all supported coins and tokens.

Write your 12 or 24 seed words on the provided recovery sheet and store it in a very private, secure location.

Never disclose them to anyone, including Klever team members. If your seed words are compromised, your accounts become accessible to others.

Enable Bluetooth connectivity and location on your mobile device. Pairing is then performed through the K5 app.

KleverSafe requires a USB port connection for power and communication with Android devices; Apple devices connect via Bluetooth only.

If the K5 app doesn't detect the device, disconnect and reconnect the cable at both ends, making sure it is properly attached.

Your seed words are essential for account recovery, and if they are lost there is no alternative recovery method.

The blank sheet provided with KleverSafe is where you should write and securely store your backup seed words.

KleverSafe accounts only appear in the K5 wallet when the device is connected to your mobile device. If your accounts aren't appearing, make sure KleverSafe is connected.

Self-custody wallets use a PIN code as the account protection password, so direct recovery is not available. You can check any written records (password managers, notes), or restore your wallet using your seed phrase.

Note that restoring creates a new PIN code. Always keep your seed phrase secure.

KleverSafe contains no internal battery — it operates solely through the USB connector. Unplugging the USB cable completely powers the device off.

The LED colors indicate the operating state of the device. Fading lights mean it is connected to the K5 Wallet app, while a heartbeat pattern indicates it is disconnected.
